ISM ALUMINI ANNUAL GENERAL BODY MEETING ON 23rd AUGUST 2017
At the Press Meet held on 12th June 2017, Indian School Muscat (ISM) authorities had declared that the Indian School Muscat Alumni (ISMA) would hold its Annual General Body Meeting (AGM)at its New Multi-Purpose Hall, on Wednesday, 23rd August 2017 at 7.30 PM.However, the alumni registration desk will be open from 5:30 pm onwards. The meeting is primarily convened to elect ateam leader. The nominations are invited from team leaders who will be facing elections for the position of the ISMA President. Each Presidential candidate will form and represent his/her team comprising a total of five members including themselves for the positions (President, Vice President, Secretary, Joint Secretary and Treasurer).
The school has created an online alumni registration form for ex-students in the school website.In addition, ex-students can enroll for ISMA membership at the fee counter at the school premises. In order to bring all the alumni spread across the globe on to one platform,the school administration has created a new official facebook page (www.facebook.com/groups/ismaoman).
Those who wish to contest for the elections are requested to download the nomination form from the school website and the filled in form can be submitted to the ISMA Coordinator, Mr Augustine Joseph. The last date for submission of nomination forms will be Sunday, 20th August, 2017.

Indian School Muscat (ISM), affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, India, is a community school that has been serving the Indian diaspora ever since its inception in 1975.With the benevolence and the generosity of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said and the cooperation extended by his government, ISM has grown from the humble beginnings with 135 children, to become one of the largest co-educational institutions in the Gulf with over 9000 students.

Indian School Muscat Alumni (ISMA) was constitutedon 17th December, 1997. As of today, the ISMA members are spread across the globe, many of them holding highly reputable positions in different spheres of life. The SMC andthe school administration envisageto reinforcing ISMA through various strategic initiatives.
The prime objective of ISMA is to support the school in various initiativesto foster friendship and fellowship among the students, teachers and alumni.Under thepatronage of the Principal, ISMA aims to arrange and conduct professional, social and cultural programmes for the benefit of its members. It aimsto provide an avenueto share knowledge and expertise of the alumni therebypromoting ISM as a Centre of Excellence. ISMA would provide loyalty benefits to its members through various corporate programmes. It would alsorecognize academic, professional and other achievements&institute awardsto its meritorious members and provide scholarships toneedy students.
ISMA is holding its Annual General-Body Meeting (AGM) in the ISM New Multi-Purpose Hall, on 23rd August 2017 (Wednesday),at 7.00 PM.Alumni aspiring to contest for elections for the office bearers positions are requested contact the ISM-ISMA Coordinator. The preparations for the AGM are well under way. The responses from the ISM Alumni and well-wishers have been very positive. ISM family is gearing up to make this event a memorable one for all its alumni members.
The media, both print and visual, have been very supportive of all the educational endeavours of the school. We are convinced that the success of this event will also depend on the wholehearted cooperation of the media.
